the Bootcamp

Ocean Heroes Bootcamp empowers existing and emerging youth leaders to create their own campaigns to take action against ocean plastic pollution.

The inaugural 2018 Bootcamp, hosted in New Orleans, celebrated the designation of actor and environmental activist Aidan Gallagher as a UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador of North America. Aidan will become the youngest ambassador to be designated by UN Environment.

the impact

Designed for youth leaders between 11 - 18, the Ocean Heroes Bootcamp will give youth leaders the scientific knowledge, campaign development tools, coaching, inspiration and support they need to create change.

During the Bootcamp youth leaders and their "Squads" will create campaigns to reduce plastic pollution in their communities.

Campaigns created during the 2018 Ocean Heroes Bootcamp were delivered to world leaders at the 2018 G7 Summit in Canada.
